Good Morning fellow safety people

Do any of you fine people have any experience of the above scaffold material?

A CONTRACTOR has just brought a load of Coronet Cuplock system scaffold onto our oil and gas project in kKazakhstan- Im not sure about this material at all

We currently have issues regarding the ladders for this scaffold, they are of a steel construction with no anti skid design or material on the rungs. They just look wrong.

We have tried to determine whether or not these comply with the standard EN131-1.

The documentation supplied with these ladders is written in Chinese and we can only find limited information available on the internet

Thanks

AS

Being an avid reader of RAPEX (European consumer safety notifications) the country listed seems to draw a lot of reported deficiencies for failing to comply with relevant European regulations.

There is also an on-going issue that manufacturers of this origin apply a logo that to the untrained eye is very similar to what Europeans would consider to be a CE mark.

Had an issue on site with hard hats a contractor purporting to be CE marked - closer examination revealed a European suppliers information had been copied verbatim.

If they have been correctly assessed to European Standards by an Approved Body there should be a report available in a more digestible language.
