I am going into patnership with an existing H&S Concutancy and I have to arrange Professional Indemity Insurance, I will be completing risk assessments for mainly office and retail sites. I just wonder what level of Indemity I will need? I was thinking £100,000, but not sure if this is too low???
Any advice would be most apprieciated.

I would go for £1m, it is not that expensive, I used Hiscox. You will probably need public liability as well, it will all be part of the same policy.

Does the consultancy you are working with have insurance of its own which you could shelter under? Worth an ask as having an extra person on theirs may be little or nothing.

Alternatively its the clients that dictate the insurance levels so it may be a good idea to see what they want.
