We hope that someone can assisyt with this query - we are finding if difficult to contact the CITB directly. Please see the link below that explains the changes to the Green Operative card: http://www.cscs.uk.com/c...cards/green-card-changesIt is the section that says ‘If you work in a labouring occupation' Our understanding of this is that you have to have a Level 1 qualification and the H & S touch screen test ?? Has anyone else encountered this and been able to ascertain exactly what will be required from July? Thanks

Basically this will mean that anyone who arrives on site as a Labourer only with the new Green Card has to have completed the following to prove they have a sufficient understanding of Health and Safety:
QCF/SCQF Level 1 Award Health and Safety in a Construction Environment*
or
CIEH Level 2 Award Health and Safety in the Workplace
or
Level 1 Award Site Safety Plus Health and Safety Awareness Course
Yes they will also have to have also completed the CITB H&S Test for operatives within last 2 years.
