Hello Everyone. I hope you may be able to assist me here. I find the UKCG Training Standards document rather ambiguous, insofar that it gives minimum H&S standards e.g. Directors-IOSH Directing Safely etc, and then goes on to say that other training may be acceptable. Unfortunately it doesn't itemise the acceptable alternatives. For (an actual) example, is holding GradIOSH and MIIRSM and CSCS Professionally Qualified Person an acceptable alternative? Is a crane supervisors qualification a suitable alternative to SSSTS? HSE website shows instances where IN's have been issued against companies whose site managers did not hold SMSTS. Is this therefore mandatory? I check upwards of 30 per day of each catergory and one mistake is too many. Any pointers to info, websites, etc would be gratefully received.
