Here's a challenge. Is there anyone in IOSH land that has any leads on whole body vibration monitoring on heavy civilian helicopters? I am looking for a specialist in the field of WBV to discuss a possible project in measurement and monitoring exposures to flying personnel. PM me if interested.

I think there was work done for agricultural equipment WBV. Perhaps look up that information and it may lead to who did it. Helicopters aren't that different to combine harvesters are they ? Sorry could not resist It may be a start point, if no experts on here. Chris

It's been a very long time since I've worked with helicopters and I stand to be corrected but in my opinion, if a helicopter is vibrating at a frequency likley to cause WBVS then there are far more serious things to worry about. Namely, the airworthiness of the helicopter.
