Hi i'm trying to find monitoring safety check forms or schemes to check safety of haulage companies used? Any forms, guidance or advice on where to find would be great. Thanks Philippa

Hi Philippa, You could try the Road Haulage Association (www.rha.uk.net). They may be able to advise you on whether they publish some form of safety check list which their members need to meet etc. Alternatively you could check if a given company is listed in the RHA Online Directory (https://www.findahaulier.co.uk). It's not a firm guarantee of safety compliance, but my understanding is that a company has to be an RHA member before it can join the directory.
