Looking for advice regarding recertifying employees who have completed Overhead Gantry Crane training.
Is there a requirement for recertification? If so how long (years) from the original date of training.

Any help or advice would be welcome.

We put our trained crane ops through a refresher every three years.

Although many industry / training bodies recommend that (re)training be undertaken every 3 years, in reality I don't believe there is an absolute requirement for this with gantry type crane training, after many years of running 3 year refresher periods we have recently extended this to 5 years.

No idea what the time period is, but I suspect a time period for training is given in a British Standard to do with the operation of cranes.
