Hi everyone After 12+ years I just want to wish everyone all the very best for a healthy & happy future. This is my very last posting as I'm throwing in the towel in terms of H&S. So no more rants from me you'll be glad to hear. I've certainly enjoyed my 30+ years in the industry & it has been very rewarding in every way. So take care of yourselves, because in the H&S business you'll find that you're alright 'til you're not. Regards Victor

Oh Victor how sad, I wish you good health and don't get too bored in retirement - don't forget you can always look in on us whenever you feel the need. Take care.

Is this related to the final London shows by Eric Idle and the remaining Python's? Despite your avatar I doubt you are that close and will enjoy a long, healthy and happy separation from the frustrations. Moderators - i would like to suggest the avatar be granted in perpetuity to our departing - just for the next time he sees a Daily Wail and utters the immortal... Her indoors often compares me to... and I have had to show there is at least one other Victor in the realm of the unwanted but necessary. Slangevar!

Victor, I hope you have a long and happy retirement (just don't take up reading the Daily Mail). Your posts have been entertaining and informative in equal measure over the years. PH2

Very many thanks everyone for your comments & kind words. I may just 'look in' from time-to-time, but at the moment I just couldn't give a monkeys on work and/or H&S. I don't mean to sound so disparagingly but there you have it. Never felt like this before, always highly motivated, but my accident & recovery changed a lot I guess. So, perhaps not the 'final show', as they say 'never say never' but for the foreseeable future it's gym, swimming, cycling, golf, holidays, travel, Grandkids and no reading the Daily Mail. Just hang on in there everyone - your time will come.

Victor Hopefully you will have many better things to do than waste your time ranting on these forums. Seriously, loved your posts and wish you a long and happy retirement. FFS! Who will do all the ranting now? Ray

Victor You'll be missed and I'm sure the temptation to poke your head into the forum will grab you in the early stages. Have a good retirement. Badger
