Hi All
My company is thinking of storing red diesel for their FLT in our warehouse looking for some advice, my lines of thinking was:
Plastic bund tray for refueling
Barrel hand pump
Fire fighting equipment
Signage
RAMS for operatives involved
Removal of customable materials
Adequate ventilation
Has anyone got any thoughts

Security
Spill kit and training to use spill kit
Protection from FLT or anthing else ( ie trucks offloading etc)
How much were you thinking of storing inside ?
Where will the drains be in relation to the storage point ?
Are you already using the diesel inside the warehouse ? (ok for fume ?)

The Environment Agency issued a number of publications over the years. The link below may help you determine what you need to do. If the link does not work you can access the info via the www.gov.uk website, just type in 'diesel oil storage' in to their search box.

Hope this helps.
