Good Morning,
My company will shortly have people working in the above areas and I'm trying to source guidance/information on medical requirements before starting and during work there and in particular the working environment/hazards etc so that we can prepare individuals to complete fit for purpose hazard and risk assessments.
All support greatly received.

All support greatly received. check with your insurer/broker and ask them if they can give you information as you'll need to inform them that you have people working abroad

I always use the foreign and commonwealth office website : https://www.gov.uk/gover...eign-commonwealth-office This contains all sorts of useful information about entry requirements, health issues, local laws and customs, political situation etc. My company has an office in Dubai and we work in the MENA region frequently. We carry out risk assessments for travel to various countries which include all of the above plus personal security and terrorist threats. Previous comments re: insurance is very important. We had to buy additional kidnap insurance when we were working in Nigeria and had to organise armed security guards for our guys whilst they were working there.

Again, good advice from https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice They can advise on all aspects in any region, from health, Political Stability, Terrorist threat, Emergency contact numbers. Loads of useful information. I don't know what your business is, but make all of your potential "Expats" aware of the cultural differences they "Will" be exposed to and how they should present themselves to their host nation, it's all to easy for people to get into trouble out here because they don't appreciate or respect local traditions and values.
