Hi

What makes the difference between safety slogans and themes? Can a slogan become a theme depending on the events and activities?

An effective safety theme is an expression which safety leadership negotiate skilfully with those they want to influence; a mere slogan is a formula that safety and other managers feel comfortable about with testing its impact.

A slogan may be converted into an effective safety theme to the extent that safety and other leaders demonstrate their appreciation of how safety safeguards the social identity of followers, and learn together how to improve as circumstances change.
