Good afternoon, I am by no way, a computer boffin. Does anyone have any tips on uploading a pictorial avatar to their account? What format does the pictorial have to be in order for the browser to pick it up? Do you have to qualify in some way i.e. the number of posts, status or any other means. When I go to my profile and attempt to add the avatar it defaults back to the same screen....... Many thanks Alex

Hi Alex - I'm sorry I can't help. I had one but it disappeared and I can't figure out how to get it back. If you find out how - I would also like to know!

It would appear to be a glitch with the system. Normally you just modify your avatar from the My Profile tab.

Alex, I agree with above, there's a glitch; I just tried to upload a first avatar via My Profile and it doesn't work.

Evening all, I have had a prompt return form IOSH HQ to the tune of; Unfortunately the functionality to have an avatar on our forums was disabled some time ago. If you do see some posts with avatars next to them, this is because the poster will have registered on the site before the functionality was disabled. Do you have a link to the thread on the forum? It might be useful for me to post something along these lines on it. And I have lodged a request that it is re-instated. Fingers crossed. Regards Alex
