We have a couple of powder silo's that require a filter change, this involves our contractors going up the silo and replacing the filters, now its got a man line system on it, so they can't fall and be left dangling, but we need to consider how to get them down if one faint's etc. The silo is in doors against the building wall, we can get a MEWP close to, but just looking for some advice and guidance.
Cheers

I would be looking to provide First Aid there and then at the top of the silo before you bring them down. That will give you time to get your Emergency rescue running and might be good enough to prevent the rescue op if the person comes around. If you have a MEWP that can reach all the way up there, IMO this would be adequate.

Hi Silas, I have a WAH rescue plan which cites all main issues and corresponding conrols. You can use this template as a springboard to your own specific needs. I dont have access (no pun intended) to it at the moment but ill dig out from my hard drive tomorrow. Can you post a private email address in the meantime so ill know where to send it ?
regards
