Have received 3 D drawing and summary sheet from a scaffold contractor using the "SMART Scaffolder" design system. I have never heard or seen it before and was wondering if anyone had experience of this as it seems to be trying to do what the new NASC compliance sheet software does.

The people who created the software for TG20;13 are the creators of SMART scaffolder, the TG20: software is a cheaper version. However, the software version should always be checked and authenticated, the specification cross referenced and ensure the design is what you have asked for, and of course, the competence of the designer.

It's not black and white as there are versions (tiers according to price) within SMART scaffolder, but it should by all accounts be far superior to TG20: software which only caters for basic scaffolds (and some non basic design elements)
