If a construction project is notifiable due to the number of days on site and the client is a domestic householder, is the project still notified to HSE and if so who is responsible for that ? Who does the PCI and H&S File? Thanks

The answer from the HSE website: No. This is because Part 3 of the CDM Regulations does not apply to projects carried out for a domestic client, so there is no requirement to notify the project.

nothing under the current CDM regs apply to a domestic client although the regs still apply to the construction companies involved however which domestic client will want nor know about any H&S file, PCI or CDMC. However the new regs [when complete] may change things -things which will be unenforceable/nor enforced in my view

I am currently having this, the project is not notifiable, but as a company we are going to maintain the same standard, and produce the same paperwork.
