Sorry Paul Can you clarify - have the AIB doors gone and it is just the TC you are asking about? If so then the TC is easy... If as per HSE guidance you can remove the TC on plasterboard by taking the plasterboard down whole then it would be non notifeable. If more realistically the work method will involve breaking the plasterboard into lots of as an intended it will be notifeable. If the TC is on concrete or other substrate that you are not removing then it will be notifeable. The clue is in how much damage is intended to the ACM during the removal. eg remote demo of roof sheets is notifeable - planned hand removal where the aim is to bring down whole _ nb there will be breakage - is not notifeable... From the information you have provided I would advise it is the below: 1) AIB panel screwed to the door removed (doors have being removed by others by removing screws from hinge on the frame side so are all free standing) - *The task is not licensed* 2) Removal of artex from all ceilings (building to be demolished, crushed and re-used so client wants no asbestos in the material) - *Notifiable non-licensed work* However, you should always seek professional advice which should include an on site visit before making a final decision as there is many variables.
