Think I was in the first group to do the PgC via distance learning via Portsmouth. Sounds as if things have moved on as all my course notes were sent to me hard copy and assignments had to be hard copy to them.

I was very impressed with the tutors. I did one assignment which clearly one of my tutors hated and he marked me way down on it. However he submitted it to the external moderator who understood my thinking. To his credit he sent me the external examiners report along with a note saying because he had not expected me to answer the question in the way I did he marked me down but that he must have been wrong and congratulated me on my final answer - not many collages/ examiners would do that!

I was self funding the course so stopped at the PgC level wish I could have afforded to continue to the MsC.
