Hello, Looking for help today on where to go to obtain the design/manufacture of specially designed safety boots and wellington boots. We have a new offshore employee who has had 'club foot' and requires two differently sized EN ISO 20345 'S3 SRC' boots. In addition, one of these needs to be built up to a greater sole height than the other. The same would apply to steel toecapped wellington boots that we need to give him for another job. We would expect that no-one can pull apart and modify 'off the shelf' boots for this as no manufacturer would extend a warranty or certificate for such an operation on their boot design. Also, if anyone has any experience of what we would need to look out for in terms of physical abilities when someone (although presumably wearing properly designed and certified footwear) has such a condition as club foot in a physically demanding environment?

Actually, I've now found the "Safety Boots for Different Length Legs..." string from November 2012. I will follow a lead from there but any other advice appreciated, some more discussion below; I would expect that we would need a report from a recognised Orthopaedic Practitioner as to the height that the ‘built up’ boot would need to be and any other considerations. There seems to be a limit as to what height can be provided within the certification allowed. See http://www.jsmltd.co.uk/accreditations Thanks.
