Does anyone have any idea when the ACOP for RIDDOR will be re-issued? I have done a search on the HSE website and can't find anything.

Thank you

There never was an ACoP for RIDDOR and I'm not sure there is a plan to introduce a new one in the current climate of remove and reduce.

I'm presuming you mean the old L73 guidance? Looked like an ACoP but never was...

No an ACOP but the HSE do issue RIDDOR guidance, one example is linked above.

Thanks very much Toe I already have that one but I seem to remember having a bounded A4 book in the office that explained the RIDDOR in more detail. When the RIDDOR regs were amended last year I threw it out. I was after an updated version but it would seem that there is not one in existence.

Having worked with the team that did the RIDDOR review, my understanding was that there wasn't any intention to reissue L73. The logic was that all the information you needed, and had been in L73, was now on the HSE website. In fact that's not quite the case, but I'm afraid L73 has gone the way of a number of guidance books and ACoPs and is no more.
