Hi All and hope your 2015 is off to a good start.

Hoping that someone can assist having undertaken something similar previously or point me in a helpful direction? I am looking for statistics or case studies related to major incidents specifically at power stations or within the power generation industry.

Nuclear appears to be well documented but hoping to expand out to other elements of this industry i.e. Gas/Coal fired power stations etc. Not aware of any global or country wide industry specific body to track these types of stats??

Background - We are part of a large design team for a gas driven power station and looking to take as many lessons learned from elsewhere as possible to input into our Safety in Design strategies.
