Hi there I have been contacted by a HSE Visiting Officer following a RIDDOR for carpal tunnel syndrome. Has anyone had a visit from a Visiting Officer before and what is their role? Thanks Sarah

Whilst they are not enforcers do not drop your guard as they [in my experience] are 'on the ball' so treat them as if they were enforcers NB: If U have little/no experience of dealing directly with enforcers ask for support, guidance etc. from your local IOSH branch members as I am sure that they would help
