I am looking for some info on the different Risk Studies that is typically carried out in process industries, and associated documentation required for them.

Not my field but I know they do scenario based risk assessments which can be very detailed and complex. They are normally done by a large multidiscipline team and start when they actually build a facility. You could start by looking at the COMAH regulation
