Just need clarification on this : Is there a situation when the CDMc can also act as the Principal Contractor ? Any assistance would be appreciated .

Yes provided they have the neccessary C word ( that should now not be used) and sufficient independance to fulfill their CDMC duties impartially. regards

AGree, yes. In fact, all the duty-holders could be the same organisation, as far as I can see, as long as they are you-know-what-that-must-not-be-stated.
