Why am I so cynical as to believe that the second link precursors a new check the card scheme is about to enter the construction scene - for a tenner we will check a card on our database - yet another income stream!!!!!!

Noted that locally a firm has de-"contracted" its self employed tarmac gangs and handed the "contract" to another "firm" who has taken-on all the
previously self-employed workers as new self employed workers....
And the lump goes on, and on, and.......
