Notification for new CDM15 regs are –

500 person DAYS or 30 working days AND HAVE more than 20 workers working simultaneously at ANY ONE POINT. So my understanding is if the project lasts –
more than 500 person days with or without breaks in programme or continuity it is notifiable?

Or goes over 30 working days with 20 on site at any one time. So you could actually do a project that could take 100 days but only have a max of 4 workers on and it not be notifiable?

we undertake reactive and planned works with a few companies and this is a 3 year contract, working days will amount to more than 500 days during the 3 years, would this be classed as single item project as the order is an open order and then be notifiable?

Thanks

Don't confuse Contract with Project.
I recall Term Contracts being notified as once-and-for-all "Projects" in Years gone by, I also seem to recall that consensus (including HSE?) was there was no value in such Notification.
Projects within that Term Contract that met Notification Threshold should be Notified in their own right.
