I have sought clarification on the following from HSE and await a written response on interim Projects and F10 forms. In the meantime: For an F10 previously notified under CDM2007 but requiring an update after April 6th e.g. start date change or principal contractor etc the new F10 automatically changes the CDM Coordinator to Principal Designer and only allows the form to be signed as Client. No CDMc and only mention of CDM2015. Anyone got any answers on how to address this? I was verbally told by HSE just to leave the older F10 project start date as is and make a note on it!? however this does not address a Principal Contractor who has just been appointed and is now unable to be named on the F10?

Yes, similar issues. I have decided to make the Client update the F10, as required by the regulations but have informed them of the issues and that we are not the PD until formally appointed. The declaration should only mention the 2015 regulations as the CDM-C duties are those in Schedule 4, Transitional and saving provisions and not the 2007 regulations. They are now revoked.

I thought there is a 6 month running in period whereby projects started before CDM 15 can run with the original duty holders and no need to update?

Tried to fill in an initial project f10. No PC appointed yet however the form will not allow you to procede without PC details being entered !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is going on with the HSE ?

Frow what i understand, new projects that start after April 6th have to follow CDM2015, projects that started before Apr 6th remain the same until ^th Oct when all projects have to be under CDM 2015 (6month grace period)

I believe that the print, scan etc option has now been removed as well...The infuriating one is when you merely want to extend the F10 period-the system won't let you do it. The 6 month transition period seems to have been completely overlooked by the HSE when they produced the new F10. Or is it a cunning ploy to force us into CDM15???

had a further update from HSE on F10 updated - just note after your company name (CDMc) and also on final page when signing as client (CDMc). all else seems to working fine for me.
