Hi all

Some of my welders have been complaining that the size 10 welding gauntlets are too big for them and make it difficult to feel the filler rod.

I can't seem to find where to source anything smaller than a size 10 currently. Does anyone have a suitable supplier or suggestions please?

they do not need gauntlets they need 'argon gloves' [as they were known in my day - I used to run the coded welders for Heysham 2 nuclear power station as we were building it ] --- they are leather gloves [made from goat or similar] very like normal leather gloves for men which allow for great dexterity e.g. the right glove for the job & gauntlets in my day were prehistoric for all but certain jobs

a proper welding supplies co should know what U need

Portwest Premium Tig Welding Guantlet (Grey) are an example but in my day these were still not as dextrous as needed in some cases
