Good morning Everyone, I am currently working in Oman as a HSE Project Manager/Consultant, a position I have held for the past 2 years. I have successfully passed both NEBOSH IGC & IOG, getting a distinction in the former and have just started my NVQ Level 5 in Health & Safety. I am hoping to apply for positions in the UK & Northern Ireland in the near future as I would prefer to move closer to home for the sake of my family. I have spoken to recruiters who mentioned that in order to be considered for HSE roles in England I will need a CSCS card. I was wondering what other requirements/documents should I get to help make me a more attractive prospect for employer in the UK & Northern Ireland? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sean You are unlikely to get a CSCS (or CSCS affiliate) card without being in work in an organisation which is involved in construction in the UK or the Republic of Ireland. (Check out the process for application on the CSCS website). But shouldn't be a significant hurdle (excepting unrealistic recruitment agency expectations) - many organisations would get you through CSCS once employed.
