Hi..Advice needed please.. I have worked in construction for over 30 years..but only as Operative ( Decorating supervisor). I am seriously looking at HSin Construction as a new career. How do I go about this???

Start with building your HSE qualification is you are not having on at this moment, IOSH MS, NEBOSH NGC or may an NVQ Level 3 can be a good start if you have some part of HSE in your current role........
Plenty of HSE Career advisors here, and I am sure they are gonna jump in.............

I passed NGC1 and NCC2..but did not complete the practical... The 5 years period ran out this March..So Have been offered a Full elearn course for the Construction cert at a discounted price... Its just I dont want to spend the dosh if its not gonna move me forwards in the field... Basically I need advice from square one.. So lets say I pass the Cert in Sept this year...Then where do I go..How do I get the work exp etc

That was a bad mate, you had wasted the effort you done to pass the NGI and NCC2, Did you check with Nebosh about any grace period,may be there is a hope... check with RCES they do have the only exam option which may help you to complete the Practical Part.
If this is not the case then do NGC and the move to NCC and NFC later..
