Hi All

We use a dilute solution of Hydrochloric acid (5% with 95% methylated spirits) and Nitric acid with a similar dilution. This is used for crack testing on precision metal products (washed in this solution before inspection)

From a general point of view, can anyone point me in the right direction for guidance on acid storage (we do have 100% strength acid also)? I entered a lab today and the acid cupboard was open and containers were on the floor with acid in unlabelled (real textboox bad practice image).

Its an area that no one seems to take responsibility for, so I need to guidance and a bit of a hammer to come down on this.

Thanks in advance
