Would there be any issues with a standard post van delivering foodstuffs between varying locations (10 mile radius).
Things such as fruit, milk, soft drinks, food etc.
Issues im thinking of is that although the items will be packaged there could be potential hygiene problems possibly as the van is normally only used for mail and general goods deliveries, also the van is not chilled.

One for the food experts I guess. But on the face of it, probably no more food hygiene risk than taking the family shopping home from the weekly supermarket shop.
The higher risk foods such as meats, milk etc should be chilled I would suppose - guess it also depends if they have been removed from a chiller and then going straight back into another fridge at the delivery point so might only be unchilled for 20-30minutes. I guess you could put milk etc into a picnic cool box, if the quantity is to large.
Pre-packaged soft drinks, canned food, fruit etc I don't see a problem.
Just being pragmatic about it, but I guess food hygiene laws kick in, if all for commercial gain.

Whats the maximum time high foods would be unchilled if doing multiple drops?

The food being transported will be consumed by employees. So Agree with the canned goods point you make. Its the milk and other perishables im concerned about.

Typically im not able to get that information. They are also pretty vague and exactly whats likely to be transported. They just keep telling me food...

All depends on what it is if it's sandwiches, or cooked items then you do have cooling and cross contamination possiblities.

Try food hygiene regulations or the Food standards website.
