Hi All

I have been asked to produce an 18001 gap analysis. Could any of you point me in the direction of any free tools or good information sources?

There are quite a few available for purchase but it is impossible to tell if they are any good and worth the money.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated as I am fairly new to 18001.

You don't need a tool - just go through the standard clause by clause and identify how far you comply with each. There are 20 substantive things to look at, so score each one out of 5, add up all the scores and you get an overall percentage you can monitor. (That's a tip I was given on a training course.)
