Scenario is a building (sports pavilllion) built into a sloping bank so that the main public area is at grond level and the changing and ancillary rooms at lower ground. Externally the land has been landscaped so that it falls toward the lower level. There have been concerns raised that peeople could fall down the bank to the lower level and sustain injuries. The occupiers have erected a low fence/barrier of plastic mesh material and are qeuring whether this is sufficnet. Has anybody had experience of this type of sceanrio and can offer an opinion on whether it would be deemed sufficient? Many thanks.

Not much to go on there, Decimomal! Degree and distance of slope, level area dimensions before slope, what's the slope material, what's the lighting like, impact on emergency routes to place of safety, etc. If the building's fairly new, there's a conversation to be had with the architects.
