Learn about organization activities, practice some questions which may interviewer ask you and remember you should ask question as well if they ask you..

Look at person spec (especially) and JD and think of EXAMPLES for each of how you have done / demonstrated. If no actual experience of some aspect, say so, but talk around how you would approach such a situation. Spend time working through, and bringing to mind scenarios, so that the question "how did you / how would you deal with x, y, or z" does not leave you racking your memory bank. Check if they have interview tips, these may help.
Prepare a couple of questions, but dont go overboard, and if these are covered, just say question was ..... but you answered that .... The time slot will be tight, and when i interviewed, I didnt think any less if people had no questions. Maybe confirm that meeting has made you even more interested to work there,, been enjoyable etc. That ends with enthusiasm rather than negative 'no questions'. Smile, look each person in eye from time to time - dont focus on just the questioner, and let your personality through.

Many thanks for your advise and suggestions. I'm currently working for Hoo hing ltd and they are specialised in Chinese top oil products, wholesalers with catering services. I have been to couple of other interviews as well in past while working for this current workplace. I learnt a lot from this company from the health and safety expects and been focuses on my goles and also strives to provide best of my knowledge and experience.
My main concern is that there are numerous questions from interviewer which I have come across with so far yet no achievement.
Description on my current work knowledge and experience within the health and safety role, I some how provide a list of my activities that comes as part of my job responsibilities. How would I know if they are happy from my answer??
Then other question e.t.c Why are you leaving your current job What is your potentials and weeknesses What your could current implementation Scenario based question How would you describe a work week for the health and safety advisor Why will we hire you Your salary expectations
If it's a health care services providers then would will be the specific issues which might be different from a normal retail Heath and and safety advisor role?
I can understand things like Customer/patients equipment safety checks Customer sensitive date protection regulation needs Chemical or sampling for their different test issues Diseases
Any other specific issues ???
Many thanks Fouzia

Hi fouzia100, I fully agree with the advice you have been given about recalling scenarios you have dealt with in the past. Do they have a list of core competencies? If so try to link your scenarios with these. They do have a list or core values and these would be worth knowing. There is some useful information on Glassdoor: https://www.glassdoor.co...iew-Questions-E11616.htmDo they operate premises? Consider Asbestos, CoSHH and DSEAR. Hazards include medical gasses, LPG and Legionella. If the operate home visits consider Occupational Road Risk, Lone Working and Workplace Violence. Hope this helps, Pete

Hello it's me again
I have my interview set for tomorrow but I'm having difficulty to decide wether I should really give it a go or rather just leave it as I have come across with very negative reviews from different employees while performing my reserch on company website or actually on indeed website
Could anyone can just advise me if I'm being intuitive about this job interview.
Majority of reviews comes as poor pay and long hours. I could not believe the company did not follow statutaty sick leave regulation in terms of looking after their key workers???
That's really a difficult one to comment on

Could be just sour grapes from a few disgruntled employees. Go to interview and see what they say.
If they offer the job then decide, otherwise it is good practice for other interviews.

One of the most important things during an interview is to be enthusiastic, positive and relaxed . This speaks volumes.
Don't criticise your previous company, previous manager (even if they are hopeless). This will single you out as a potential trouble maker. State your reasons for leaving are because this new position offers you new challenges. etc

As Chris42 said - it will be good practice for future interviews either way. Probably perform better too as there is no pressure on you if you aren't that bothered.
I hate interviews and get very nervous too so good luck

Hello everyone,
Have been to the interview and seems really a good one. Even though I have be advised that the company still have other candidates to be interviewed within next two weeks which is quite obvious.
Let's wait for the outcome. Update the status with to response.
Once again thanks to all of them who contributed in my interview practice and prepared my before hand.

I got the interview it was a somewhere I had previously worked so i went along out of respect. They were very nice and super keen but i had to say towards the emd that it was a waste of time and I wasn't interested. Funnily enough the interviewer, was a good friend of the manager where I was working at the time, though he said he would keep it confidential, I got a pay rise not long after.
