Hi All, I'd very much like to hear from anyone familiar with CSCS's Profiled Route to obtain Black Managers and Gold Supervisors Cards. I'd especially like to hear from anyone who has assisted a colleague in answering the NVQ-derived questions and assisted with developing the supporting evidence. Many thanks in anticipation. Neil

Hi Neil, i have a gold cscs card , sat the normal h+s /enviromental touch screen test and sent copies of my trade qualifications through and as i served an approved apprentiship and gained advanced craft cert at trade i qualified for a gold card. site manager i was speaking to yesterday again sent through copies of his qualifications , did the managers touch screen test and obtained the black card. i dont know how you can assist somebody to answer the questions etc it is all down to competency again ie suitably qualified and experienced.

Hi Scott, Thanks for this. The Profiled Route is more for those in Supervisory or Manager roles who don't have any formal or recognised qualifications to get the Gold or Black Cards. Those going down the non-NVQ Profiled Route are required to respond to competency-based questions that are linked directly to the related NVQ. Glad you got sorted. Regards Neil
