We have around 40 boilers attached to Dry Cleaning machines. The boilers are services regularly by the company that service the DC machines. Annually they are then inspected by an external company. Our CEO has now asked if we can train someone internally to do the boiler inspections.

I have searched the internet to try and see what sort of training would be required but just seem to be going round in circles.

Any ideas? Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated.

You should probably be looking to recruit tbh.
Apprenticeship served fitter who has gone on to study mechanical engineering, probably to degree level, and IEng registered.
It's not something you can do a 6 week course to understand.
However, this, does, depend on the boilers.
You would also need I suspect to check with your insurance company.
Presumably these come under PSSR?
So, have a look @ L122 & the HSE pressure systems mini site.

Not enough information.

Are they gas fired? Then a suitably qualified gas engineer to service the gas side of things.

Do the boilers produce steam? Then read L122 as indicated by Paul.
