Hello,
for clarity, can anyone confirm that since June 1st last year and the repeal of CHIP, the only regulation for supply of chemicals is the EU CLP regulation?
I understand regulations have direct implementation unlike Directives within the member states, but as I write this, I cannot reference a UK (loosely) equivalent statutory instrument(?) because no domestic S.I. was put in place of CHIP(?)
Apologies if I haven't asked this concisely, but this is a first for me, and I've been aware fo the changes for years, but realised there is a gap
thanks in advance

CLP is the applicable regulation for chemical supply in the UK. The UK enactment is via the REACH Regulation (CLP, BPR etc being subservient).
We do however have transitional arrangements regarding market supply (CHiP style markings potentially valid until June 2017 for mixtures and SDS prepared to EU 453/2010 valid for the same period unless new classification information i according to REACH is applied along the supply chain).
