Hiya,
can you please confirm if the above falls under the greenhouse gas regulations and if the technician inspecting/certifying the system requires F-Gas training specifically?

We have one of the systems but outsource maintenance. As a duty holder, should we check that the inspector is competent?

There should be a label on the equipment that states which HFC is used in the equipment if any. If you are unsure then consult the user manual or contact the manufacturer. Some fire suppression systems certainly do come under F-gas regs, see the link below for more info if needed:
