Can anyone advise of an Industry / Trade body that can provide corporate membership with regards to Health rather than safety? The SSIP members cover safety but is there any membership available with regards to Health? The only one I am aware of is "Constructing Better Health".... is anyone aware of any others? Regards Pete

There's the Royal Society for Public Health; don't know a great deal about them but they are active in pyblic and workplace health promotion and their website says they have corporate members: www.rsph.org.uk John

I would strongly recommend the British Occupational Hygiene Society ( BOHS). This is a learned society, but incorporates the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene and has a royal charter. BOHS accredits courses on many aspects of occupational hygiene and health. It is an excellent way of meeting others, perhaps specialising in specific areas of occupational health. It has several active local regions. It also has an extremely interesting annual conference coming up in Glasgow in April. Chris
