Hello All,
I am in the process of introducing an electrical safety management systems within my company, a food manufacturing environment. Prior to me joining the establishment, they never had a system and had only TEGG assessment done once in a while.
I do see the need to for a system in place, however I have not got prior experience with this. Can anyone who has got a tested and trusted management systems for electrical safety help out with this please?
Regards

Kindly inbox me.

What exactly are you looking for ayoflow?

A TEGG assessment has no real legal standing as it does not seem to comply with any of the UK statute law, ACoP, nor any "official" or pseudo "official" UK guidance.
It seems to be some USA thing imported into the UK which has no substantial basis under UK (EU) legislation standards or requirements.

There is already published guidance out there, but, it depends on which aspects of electrical safety policy you want to look at, "PAT", "fixed wiring", e.g. under BS7671, or machinery under EN 60204-1?
Also it depends on what you are looking to achieve.
