Dear Colleagues,

Have you recently completed/ are you in the process of preparing for the Peer Review Interview?

I understand that the previous format has somewhat changed and I have not been able to get any clear indication as to the format or incite into how to go about preparing.

Would anyone be able to provide some pointers or suggest approaches to preparation?

Thanks in advance.

Your contribution will be highly appreciated.

Regards

LS

Review your Open Assessment answers and marking, or your Skills Development Portfolio (or in a small number of cases both), think about common areas of health and safety that all safety professionals should be aware of, have some examples of applying them in mind, familiarise yourself with the IOSH Code of Conduct, and be prepared to talk about future CPD plans. Simples.

Thanks very much Biker1,

I will start with the SDP cases. I didnt receive any comments from the markers. Apart from the COC bit, would you say this interview is closely aligned with normal HSE role interviews?

Kind regards,

Firstly don't worry.

Second, the panel does not have access to your skills portfolio etc so they won't question you on it. The code of conduct important, and having some examples in mind of things you have done for being proactive etc.
