There nothing like a bit of regional stereotyping to liven up a snowy Friday.

quote=Invictus]Help it's snowing on merseyside what should we do! Help!

Go home, close all the doors and windows, and whatever you do make sure no children play in it.

On your way home stop and buy ALL the bread and milk your local shops have, leave nothing on the shelves for others. You will need at least enough to last 2 months. Consider buying lots of tinned food.

Don't eat the yellow snow.

Don't be tempted to go outside or listen to weather forecasts until at least mid April.

Quickly now ! Go

Set off for work this morning from Burnley and didn't get more than 6 feet before the car lost traction. Managed to reverse it back then spent the next hour watching cars skid and slip from the front window. The front street at that point looked like a battle ground with abandoned, dented cars everywhere. fortunately for me all that skidding and slipping missed my little Toyota and cleared a nice space to the centre of the road where traction was just about possible, so I was able to make my forty mile commute to work. Looking out the office window, the journey home might be a different matter.

Well, I'm disappointed I had just put a couple of bottles of stout into the snow before donning my flat cap, tying the rope keeping my trousers up, putting on my hob nailed boots before popping down to see our Jud.

An wife was just doing peewak soup, pigs tails and some fresh bread draped in dripping. An then straight to bed were foot gets caught in the arm of the new duvet.

Work near Liverpool city centre I got in at 7.15 by 8, people were asking if they could go home. I was not going to recommend people going home at that time.

Looks like we all missed this shocker.

According the the equality act you can't call Mr/Mrs/Ms Hill "Camp".

I await news of the Claim for compensation.
