Hi, I'm just working through my sdp, and currently working on element 5.1. I'm sort of following the example sheets but adjusting their examples to scenarios from my own workplace.
I'm stuck on producing an 'improvement implementation programme'. I don't fully understand what one is. I'm thinking of producing some sort of document on publisher but not sure if I'm on the right track and what to include in this or whether its a bit more than just a handout. If anyone can clarify this section I would much appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

There is a bit more info in the initial activity description which might help structure your implementation document. In essence you could use the below as headings in your programme. I would stick to doing it on MS Word and just outline what you want to aim for, what you want to change and how you intend to go about it with respect to your risk controls. It may be easier to call it something else and move away from the SDP example - I got bogged down trying to align my own examples with the guide book.
from the guide...producing an improvement implementation programme, including prioritisation of improvements based on risk. The programme must also account for: o cost o resource implications o logistics o practicality
The above will only really work if you've reviewed current assessments and risk controls and have a review to hand - otherwise you'll struggle to produce an implementation plan - given you've nothing to suggest implementing. I avoided this activity myself but good luck and don't feel like you need to stick to the guides examples!!!

The example activity sheets are just that - examples. They are not to be slavishly followed, in fact if you tried to, it would no longer be your work, would it?
