Hi just wondered if anyone had undertaken any significant analysis of how the new standard will differ from OHSAS18001 and impact on businesses, wondered if anyone was willing to share?

Not as of yet. We have purchased the current draft for 45001 and had a quick look at it, but there will be documents available online to purchase which will highlight the key changes in the coming months. They have done the same for the other standards (9001,14001) and as far as I can see, this should make the transition over to 45001 much easier. Once the documents are released highlighted to changes from 18001 to 45001, I will PM you with the link if that is of any help.

We are at the ISO DIS 45001 stage and as such until the final version is published, there can be changes! There will also be a transition period. It is my understanding that the BSI HS/1 committee has decided to publish BS 45004 as a stand alone guidance for ISO 45001, that will also replace BS 18004:
