Hi All,
Does anyone know of any British Standards relating to the securing of loads on curtain sided trailers please?
I am getting some results via Google but I want to make sure I have the correct guidance.
Thanks James

DVSA have a load security guide on the attached link. https://www.gov.uk/gover...ehicle-operator-guidanceWhilst with VOSA I was involved in load security workshops and it was clear that most curtain sides are not designed to hold the load securely and would therefore require additional security to retain the load in the vehicle. DVSA (formerly VOSA) enforce load security and if a vehicle curtain is bulging then the vehicle could be pulled into a road check site and the driver given advice and possibly a fine. They may also fine the company for the insecurity of the load.
