How long is a pre demo asbestos survey valid for? I.e does the ACOP tell you that is should be reviewed every 3 months etc

As far as I know there is no proscribed period of time when an asbestos survey becomes invalid. Whether a survey is still valid is really a matter of judgement based on time, whether any work has been carried out on the premises since the survey which could have disturbed any asbestos and the risk identified at the time of the survey.

Hi there, as said already it does not expire however the scope of the survey is what makes it relevant. i.e. if the areas you are looking to be working intrusively were covered in the original survey. I see this time and time again where a R&D survey is provided in PCI yet sometimes the scope of the survey did not cover everywhere.
