You can practice the test online, but you can't undertake the actual test online. It is quite strictly regulated.

They usually have vans that go out to remote locations where you sit the test. There is also a book with mock questions or as the previous poster said online practice questions

I recall sitting my CSCS test and I was asked to roll up my shirt sleeves, "why" I asked, "incase you have written the answers on your arms" came the reply. I said, "I think it would be actually easier to learn the resources, it's not like it's A level physics, the CSCS test is embarrassingly easy..." I think it should be set at different levels and that be reflected in the card, this may promote a sense of pride in the individual.

Yes the H&S test is very basic, not sure why they would think you would cheat?? I did the "MAP" test for Managers and Professionals for my Black CSCS Managers Card, I managed to get that with my NVQ level 6 Diploma in Construction Site Management. But what a Nightmare. The MAP test is by far the Hardest and it has alot of CDM questions in, which helps if you've revised on the latest regs. 3 Months later and with a Qualification with the Association of Project Management i manage to also nab a Black "Contracts Manager" Skill Card - That will do me i guess!!
