Does anyone out there have any experience of comparing CSA vs EN standards, especially in relation to the provision of PPE.
We have a UK based team who are currently mobilising to Canada and have specific PPE requirements. All of our PPE meets the normal BS EN standards, but the Canadian client won't allow us onto site unless they're certified to Canadian CSA standards.
OK - we can purchase at a 'local' shop but why waste money
Any help will be really appreciated

You haven't mentioned the "specific" - certain specialised devices are banned from carriage by air no matter which standard they comply with think Li-Ion battery, compressed gas cylinders, flares, track side percussion caps etc.
And the teams opinion on giving up some of their luggage allowance for PPE (I take it you would wish to avoid excess baggage charges)?
Problems with spares / repairs of non-domestic equipment whilst out in Canada?
And then if you are up against a total jobsworth on arrival at site when they check the label and see the appropriate Canadian Standard is not shown....
