Hi all
Just a quick question as I´m still looking at furthering my studies in H&S. I´ve come across the NCRQ diploma which gets you GradIOSH status, but is it like the NEBOSH Diploma in that you can register to do a Msc in Health and Safety Management afterwards or is this not an option with this qualification?

As always, much appreciation in advance for any and all responses.

As the NCRQ is a fairly new qualification then its bound to take time for courses to add those Level 6 Certificates and Level 6 Diploma to their entry requirements.

This is the basic entry requirements for an Msc in health & Safety Management
=============================================================
Qualifications
We welcome applications from graduates with a good honours degree, or equivalent qualification, in an appropriate subject
We also consider candidates with NeBOSH Diploma and NeBOSH international Diploma or other relevant qualifications
Those without formal qualifications need to demonstrate three years' relevant work experience and the ability to study at postgraduate level.

The clue is "other relevant qualifications" would would probably include the NCRQ Diploma

You can of course do one with just Experience if you have 3 years or more and the ability to study at postgraduate level

But like most H&S jobs you'll slowly see the NCRQ creep in as a recommended qualification as it becomes popular, some of the uni's are a bit slow on the uptake, but a quick call to the place of study should clear things up for you and the more common the NCRQ becomes you'll find they will be more widely accepted to rival Nebosh

The NEBOSH and NCRQ are stand alone qualifications and neither are required to enrol for a Masters. Personally I would go straight for the Masters. I was told buy an academic when considering my first Masters the most important qualification for the degree is your money - how true I found.
