Hi everyone, I am hoping someone can help me. I want to introduce an icebreaker to our company induction and thought that giving everyone out a picture at start and asking them to spot the hazards, then going back to the picture/photograph at the end to see if the results are different might be a good idea. I am struggling to find anything factory/site related on the internet. Would anyone have something they don't mind sharing? Thanks in advance. S

I found dozens of pictures by typing 'hazard spotting exercise' into Google and searching under 'images' - office, workshop, construction - they're all there.

PM me, I have a very old cartoon type one that we use, lots of Hazards and can create some laughs as it looks like its based from an office in the 70's, so still has smoking in the office, old typewriters etc. Rob

Hi Sharon, you could base the exercise on previous site inspection photos (unsafe acts / conditions). This would make it more relative. Additionally, you could use multiple choice answers to make the exercise more simplistic, as many get concerned / anxious when it comes to being tested. Simon

Hi Sharon, I previously used: https://www.worksafebc.c...16-office-safety?lang=en You can view the past competitions and pick one most applicable to your workplace. When you click into an applicable photo and spot the hazard, it displays a little pin. I have used it on numerous occasions as part of internal training and it resulted in a very interactive session. Hopefully it will assist you.
